Data Protection
We are very pleased about your interest in our company. Data protection is of a particularly high priority for the management of Space4Growth Consulting. The use of the Internet pages of Space4Growth Consulting is generally possible without any indication of personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to use special services of our company via our website, processing of personal data could become necessary. If the processing of personal data is necessary and there is no statutory basis for such processing, we generally obtain consent from the data subject.
The processing of personal data, such as the name, address, email address, or telephone number of a data subject, is always in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to Space4Growth Consulting. By means of this privacy policy, our enterprise would like to inform the general public of the nature, scope, and purpose of the personal data we collect, use, and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed, by means of this privacy policy, of the rights to which they are entitled.
As the data controller, Space4Growth Consulting has implemented numerous technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection possible for personal data processed via this website. Nevertheless, internet-based data transmissions can inherently have security vulnerabilities, meaning absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transmit personal data to us via alternative methods, such as by telephone.

3. Collection of general data and information
With each call to the Space4Growth Consulting website by a data subject or an automated system, the website collects a series of general data and information. This general data and information is stored in the server log files. The data that may be collected includes (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrers), (4) the sub-pages accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an Internet Protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system, and (8) other similar data and information used to avert danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.
When using these general data and information, Space4Growth Consulting does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed to (1) correctly deliver the content of our website, (2) optimize the content of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the permanent functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. Therefore, this anonymously collected data and information is evaluated by Space4Growth Consulting on the one hand statistically and on the other hand with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company, in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data processed by us. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.
4. Routine deletion and blocking of personal data
The controller shall process and store personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage, or as far as this is granted by the European legislator or other legislator in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject.

- the processing purposes
- the categories of personal data that are processed
- the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organisations

Furthermore, the data subject has the right, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to demand the completion of incomplete personal data—also by means of a supplementary statement. If a data subject wishes to exercise this right to rectification, they may contact an employee of the controller responsible for processing at any time.
- d) Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) Any data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European directives and regulations legislator to obtain from the controller the immediate erasure of personal data concerning them, provided that one of the following reasons applies and to the extent that the processing is not necessary:

- e) Right to restriction of processing Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European directives and regulations legislator to demand from the controller the restriction of processing if one of the following conditions is met:
- The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

They also have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided, provided that the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and the processing is carried out by automated means, as long as the processing is not necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller. Furthermore, when exercising their right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20(1) GDPR, the data subject has the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible and provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others. To assert the right to data portability, the data subject may contact any employee of Space4Growth Consulting at any time.
- g) Right to Object Any data subject whose personal data is being processed has the right, granted by the European legislative and regulatory authorities, to object at any time, for reasons arising from their particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them that is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. Space4Growth Consulting will no longer process the personal data in the event of an objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. If Space4Growth Consulting processes personal data for direct marketing purposes, the data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data for such marketing purposes. This also applies to profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If the data subject objects to Space4Growth Consulting’s processing for direct marketing purposes, Space4Growth Consulting will no longer process the personal data for these purposes. In addition, the data subject has the right, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her that is carried out by Space4Growth Consulting for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes pursuant to Article 89(1) of the GDPR, unless such processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. To exercise the right to object, the data subject may contact any employee of Space4Growth Consulting or another employee directly. The data subject is also free, in connection with the use of information society services, notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC, to exercise their right to object by means of automated procedures that use technical specifications.
- h) Automated individual decision-making, including profiling Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European Directive and Regulation maker not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing—including profiling—which produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them, provided that the decision (1) is not necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the data controller, or (2) is authorized by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard the data subject's rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, or (3) is based on the data subject's explicit consent. If the decision (1) is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the data controller, or (2) is based on the data subject's explicit consent, Space4Growth Consulting shall implement suitable measures to safeguard the data subject's rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, at least the right to obtain human intervention on the part of the controller, to express his or her point of view and to contest the decision. If the data subject wishes to assert rights concerning automated decisions, they may, at any time, contact any employee of the data controller.
- i) Right to withdraw data protection consent Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European directives and regulations maker to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the data subject wishes to exercise their right to withdraw consent, they may contact an employee of the controller responsible for the processing at any time.
6. Privacy policy for the use and application of LinkedIn
The controller has integrated components of LinkedIn Corporation on this website. LinkedIn is an internet-based social network that enables users to connect with existing business contacts and to make new business contacts. Over 400 million registered people use LinkedIn in more than 200 countries. This makes LinkedIn currently the largest platform for business contacts and one of the most visited websites in the world.
The operating company of LinkedIn is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For data protection matters outside the USA, LinkedIn Ireland, Privacy Policy Issues, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, is responsible.
With each individual retrieval of our website, which is equipped with a LinkedIn component (LinkedIn plug-in), this component causes the browser used by the data subject to download a corresponding representation of the component from LinkedIn. Further information on LinkedIn plug-ins can be accessed at https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins. As part of this technical procedure, LinkedIn receives knowledge of which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged into LinkedIn at the same time, LinkedIn recognizes with each call to our website by the data subject, and for the entire duration of their respective stay on our website, which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and associated by LinkedIn with the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on a LinkedIn button integrated into our website, LinkedIn associates this information with the personal LinkedIn user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.
LinkedIn receives information that the data subject has visited our website via the LinkedIn component whenever the data subject is logged into LinkedIn at the same time our website is called up; this occurs regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the LinkedIn component or not. If such a transmission of this information to LinkedIn is not desired by the data subject, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their LinkedIn account before calling up our website.
LinkedIn offers the option to unsubscribe from email messages, text messages, and targeted ads, as well as to manage ad settings at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls. LinkedIn also uses partners such as Quantcast, Google Analytics, BlueKai, DoubleClick, Nielsen, Comscore, Eloqua, and Lotame, which may set cookies. Such cookies can be rejected at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy. The applicable privacy policy of LinkedIn is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. LinkedIn's cookie policy is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.
7. Privacy Policy for the Use and Application of Matomo
The controller has integrated the Matomo component on this website. Matomo is an open-source software tool for web analysis. Web analysis is the surveying, collection, and evaluation of data on the behavior of visitors to internet sites. Among other things, a web analysis tool collects data on which internet site a data subject came to an internet site from (so-called referrer), which subpages of the internet site were accessed, or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. Web analysis is primarily used for the optimization of an internet site and for a cost-benefit analysis of internet advertising.
The software is operated on the server of the data controller, and the log files, which are sensitive under data protection law, are stored exclusively on this server.
The purpose of the Matomo component is to analyze visitor flows on our website. The data and information collected are used by the controller, among other things, to evaluate the use of this website in order to compile online reports that show the activities on our websites.
Matomo sets a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. The setting of the cookie enables us to analyze the use of our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this website, the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the Matomo component to transmit data to our server for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical procedure, we gain knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which serves us, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks.
The cookie is used to store personal information such as the access time, the location from which access originated, and the frequency of visits to our website. Each time you visit our website, this personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is transmitted to our server. This personal data is stored by us. We do not pass this personal data on to third parties.
As stated above, the data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the internet browser used would also prevent Matomo from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, a cookie already set by Matomo can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, the data subject has the option to object to and prevent the collection of the data generated by Matomo relating to the use of this website. To do this, the data subject must set „Do Not Track“ in their browser.
However, setting the opt-out cookie may result in the data subject no longer being able to use all functions of the data controller's websites to their full extent.
Further information and the applicable privacy policy of Matomo can be accessed at https://matomo.org/privacy/.
8. Legal basis for processing
Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for our company’s processing activities in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party—as is the case, for example, with processing operations required for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration— the processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The same applies to processing operations necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, such as in cases of inquiries regarding our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of personal data—such as to fulfill tax obligations—the processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may be necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor were injured on our premises and their name, age, health insurance information, or other vital information subsequently had to be disclosed to a doctor, a hospital, or other third parties. In such cases, the processing would be based on Article 6(1)(d) of the GDPR. Finally, processing operations may be based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. This legal basis applies to processing operations not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases, provided that the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, unless the interests, fundamental rights, and fundamental freedoms of the data subject take precedence. We are permitted to carry out such processing operations in particular because they were specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this regard, the legislator took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the controller (Recital 47, Sentence 2 of the GDPR).
9. Legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party
If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, our legitimate interest is the conduct of our business activities for the benefit of the well-being of all our employees and our shareholders.
10. Period for which the personal data will be stored
The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. Upon expiration of this period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, provided it is no longer necessary for the fulfillment or initiation of a contract.
11. Statutory or contractual provisions for the provision of personal data; necessity for the conclusion of the contract; obligation of the data subject to provide the personal data; possible consequences of failure to provide such data
We inform you that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g., tax regulations) or may result from contractual provisions (e.g., information about the contractual partner). Sometimes, for a contract to be concluded, it may be necessary for a data subject to provide us with personal data that must subsequently be processed by us. For example, the data subject is obliged to provide us with personal data when our company concludes a contract with them. Failure to provide the personal data would mean that the contract with the data subject could not be concluded. Before providing personal data, the data subject must contact one of our employees. Our employee will inform the data subject on a case-by-case basis whether the provision of personal data is required by law or contract or is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, whether there is an obligation to provide the personal data, and what the consequences of failing to provide the personal data would be.
12. Adobe Fonts
This page uses web fonts provided by Adobe Fonts for the uniform display of fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the Adobe Typekit servers. As a result, Adobe Typekit will know that our website was accessed via your IP address. Adobe Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and engaging presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

14. Existence of automated decision-making
As a responsible company, we refrain from automated decision-making or profiling.
